Atlaspong: the place name chain game

Name a place that starts with the last letter of the last one. Every right answer has a short fact.

The rules

1. Pick a first place together, or start with S.
2. Each team names a real place that starts with the last letter of the last place.
3. Allowed: countries, states, cities, towns and the seven continents.
4. A place can be used only once.
5. Three wrong answers, or no answer in 30 seconds, and a team is out.
6. The last team in wins.

Five minute starter

Two or three teams. One person writes the chain on the board. After each place, someone reads its fact from the game, or the teacher checks the place on a phone.
